Itinerary :
DAY 01:
Arrival in Cochin
As soon as you reach Cochin, our company representative will meet you at the Cochin airport/ railway station. After giving his introduction, he will carefully transfer you to the city hotel, together with your luggage. On the way, he will explain you more about the fun-filled Kerala Honeymoon Tour Package.
After reaching the hotel, check in your room and refresh yourself for an exciting tour ahead. Being situated on the south-west coast of Indian Peninsula, Cochin is the gateway to Kerala. In the evening, visit the local attraction of Cochin, together with your partner.
Among so many beautiful places, that you can visit in Cochin, the most attractive one is the Dutch Palace. Here you will find a wide collection of palanquins, royal coronation robes and sketches of the local kings. Also visit the Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica and St Francis Church.
Overnight will be at Cochin.
DAY 02:
Cochin – Munnar
Have your breakfast in Cochin and then set yourself ready for Munnar, which is one of the famous hill stations in Kerala. On your journey, you will be able to notice the fascinating life of Kerala, which constitutes a number of coconut trees lined on the sides of the road.
Munnar was once the favourite summer resort of the British rulers, during their rule in India. It hasn’t lost its charm yet. The romantic atmosphere of Munnar gives you the perfect environment for a special honeymoon.
Check in your hotel after reaching Munnar. In the evening, relax or move around in the local markets. Overnight will be at Munnar.
DAY 03: -
In Munnar
After breakfast, we will proceed for sightseeing in Munnar. Munnar is one of those naturally beautiful cities in Kerala, which is enriched with a large number of tourists’ spots. Get a chance to visit Pothamedu, Rajamala and Eravikulam National Park in Munnar. After spending some time in midst of flora and fauna also visit Devikulam, Nyayamakad, Echo Point, Kundala Power House Waterfalls, and Malankara Reservoir.
Return back to your hotel in the evening and relax. Overnight will be at Munnar.
DAY 04: -
Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar)
In the morning, have your breakfast and then drive to Thekkady, which is famous for its natural wild life sanctuary. On reaching Thekkady, check in your hotel room and relax a bit. After lunch, you would be taken for exploring the beauty of this wonderful city in Kerala.
We would start with the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is said to be of about 350 sq Kms thick evergreen forest. After spending some memorable time between the wild animals, also visit the famous Mangla Devi Temple, which is situated in the middle of the forest and is entirely made up of stone.
In the evening, get back your room and relax with your partner. Overnight will be at Thekkady.
DAY 05: -
Thekkady – Kumarakom
Have your breakfast in the city hotel and prepare yourself for yet another beautiful destination in Kerala. After Thekkady, we would proceed towards Kumarakom, which is known to be one of the better places for the honeymooners in Kerala. Kumarakom is a group of little islands on the Vembanad Lake.
On reaching Kumarakom, check in your luxurious backwater resort and relax. In the evening visit the local attractions of the city, which would include the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, house boat jetty and many more.
Overnight will be at Kumarakom.
DAY 06: -
Kumarakom – Alleppey
After breakfast, proceed for an exciting 24 hours experience in a deluxe houseboat. This boat will take from Kumarakom to Alleppey. Have some lovely time with your partner in this nicely built boat, which is one of the major attractions in Kerala. Everything will be arranged perfectly to make your time in the boat, a memorable one. The houseboat provides all the facilities of bedrooms, kitchens, private balconies and sundecks. Explore the fascinating beauty of Alleppey, while you will be given the traditional food of Kerala in your lunch and dinner.
Overnight will be at the houseboat.
DAY 07: -
Alleppey Cochin
This is the last day of your tour. After breakfast in the houseboat, you will be again taken back to Cochin. If wished you can spend some time in last minute shopping in the local markets. After sometime, you will be safely transferred to the airport, together with your luggage. Catch your flight, with some sweet memories of the tour.
