Detailed Itinerary :
DAY 1: Arrival in Delhi
As you reach Delhi International Airport, you will find our staff waiting to greet you at the airport. You will then be assisted to your hotel. Freshen up. In the afternoon, we will take you out for a short sight-seeing of Delhi. You will be taken to the famous Lotus Temple. We will show you around the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Parliament House, Rajpath, Janpath and the India Gate. Come back to your hotel after the sight-seeing. Spend the night there.
DAY 2: Delhi
Get up early in the morning and have a heavy breakfast. Then embark on a full day tour of Delhi. We will first take you to the historical Old Delhi. You will see the Red Fort and the mighty Jama Masjid. Later you stroll through the traditional shops in the streets of Chandni Chowk.
We will move on to the Birla Planetarium, Akshardham Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar and Purana Quila. Later in the evening, visit the shopping complex in the Connaught place. Retire to your hotel just in time for dinner. Spend the night comfortably in your hotel.
DAY 3: Delhi – Mandawa
Wake up early in the morning and start for the beautiful small town of Mandawa in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. On reaching, we will help you check in to your pre booked hotel Mandawa.
The town is famous for its archaic havelis and forts. After freshening up, we will take you to see the famous Mandawa fort. We will also show you the Binsidhar Newatia Haveli and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. In the evening retire back to your hotel. Spend the night in Mandawa.
DAY 4: Mandawa – Bikaner
In the morning, after you have your breakfast in the hotel, we will take you to Bikaner.
Vibrancy oozes out of this dusty desert town. The camel safaris here are very popular. After you reach Bikaner, we will help you get into your hotel. Freshen up and start off with the sight seeing of Bikaner in the afternoon. You will be taken to the impressive Junagarh Fort, the grand Lalgarh Palace and some of the Jain temples like Bhandasar Temple, Sandeshwar Temple, etc. In the evening you can indulge in an exciting camel safari across the desert. Retire back to your hotel after that. Have your dinner and spend the night there.
DAY 5: Bikaner – Khimsar
In the morning, have your breakfast and start for Khimsar. Known for the Khimsar Fort, this place is surely going to grasp you by its charisma. The royal descendants still reside in this fort. As you reach there, you will be warmly welcomed by the royal courtiers. Spend a king-like evening in the fort and indulge in all the grand activities available here like de-stressing spa, sporting centres, etc. Have a delicious Rajasthani dinner. Spend the night there.
DAY 6: Khimsar – Osian – Jaisalmer
Wake up in the morning and have a delicious royal breakfast in the hotel. Then head to the city of Jaisalmer. On the way, we will stop by the refreshing desert oasis, Osian. Here you will see some temples like, The Sun Temple, Harihara temple, Kali Temple, etc. Resume your journey to Jaisalmer.
Jaisalmer is also called the Golden City as most of the havelis here are made up of yellow sandstones. As you reach, you can check in to your hotel and freshen up. Spend the rest of the day in leisure. Have your dinner in the hotel. Spend the night there.
DAY 7: Jaisalmer
Wake up in the morning and have a relaxed breakfast in the hotel. Then proceed to the sight seeing of Jaisalmer. Start with the Desert culture center and Museum. You can get a vivid idea about the Rajasthani culture and folklore from the traditional instruments and textiles here. Then we will take you to the Jaisalmer Folklore Museum and the elegant Maharaja’s Palace. Attend a local Rajasthani dance show in the evening. Have your dinner in the hotel and spend the night there.
DAY 8: Jaisalmer- Visit to Havelis
Embark on a tour around the ancient havelis in Jaisalmer today. Start with the most magnificent haveli here, Patwa ki Haveli. This 19th century haveli was built by the five Jain brothers. You will also see Salim Singh ki Haveli. This 300 year old citadel with its rich traditional architecture will surely overwhelm you.
Return to your hotel in the evening. Spend the night there.
DAY 9: Jaisalmer- Visit to Manak Chowk
Wake up and have a relaxed morning meal in your hotel. Today you will be taken to the Manak Chowk. Once a grain market, this chowk is a real eye catcher with all its traditional market. You will get glimpses of the bygone era from the ambience of this place. Spend the day in the market place. Return to your hotel in the evening and spend the night there.
DAY 10: Jaisalmer – Jain Temples
Devote the day in exploring the Jain Temples of Jaisalmer. Inside the fort, there are 7 Jain Temples- Chandraprabhu, Parasnath, Rikhabdev, Shitalnath, Sambhavanth, Shantinath and Kunthunath. Spend the day in unfolding the bygone age in these Jain Temples. Return to your hotel after that and spend the night there.
DAY 11: Jaisalmer – Desert Festivity
Spend the day in the desert festival of Jaisalmer. The city reverberates with the tune of joy and frolic during this time of the year. Different fun activities enlighten the ambience. The most popular part of the festival is the performance of the Rajasthani artists in the backdrop of Sam sand dunes. Return to your hotel in the late evening and spend the night there.
DAY 12: Jaisalmer – Desert Festivity
Spend yet another exciting day in the colourful desert festival. Enjoy your time there till evening. Spend the night in Jaisalmer.
DAY 13: Jaisalmer- Wood Fossil Park
Wake up in the morning and head to Akal Wood fossil Park, 17kms from Jaisalmer proper. This park used to be a forest 180 million years ago which got submerged into the sea and the trees got fossilized. Come back to your hotel in the evening. Spend the night there.
DAY 14: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Start off for the Sun City of Rajasthan today. Jodhpur is a favourite spot for all tourists. On reaching, get in to the hotel and spend your night there.
DAY 15: Jodhpur
Devote the day in the sight seeing of Jodhpur. We will show you around Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhavan Palace, Jaswant Thada and Rai ka Bag Palace. Spend the night in Jodhpur.
DAY 16: Jodhpur – Jaipur
Start off for Jaipur in the morning. On reaching, check in to your hotel and freshen up. Then go out for the sight seeing of the city. We will take you to the Amber Fort, the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal and the Nahargarh Fort. Return to your hotel in the evening. Spend the night in Jaipur.
DAY 17: Jaipur – Delhi
Proceed to Delhi today. On reaching, board the flight back to your home.
