Itinerary :
DAY 1: Arrival in Chennai
As you arrive at the Chennai International Airport on the scheduled day, our representatives will be waiting there to greet you. You will be assisted to your hotel where you can relax and refresh yourself after dealing with the tiresome journey.
Often called the ‘Gateway of South India’, Chennai is the symbol of modesty. Humility is its backbone. Devoid of the cosmopolitan and sophisticated aura of Mumbai, the historical exaggeration of Delhi and the optimism of Bangalore, this fourth largest city of India truly bears the traits of a down-to-earth city.
In the evening you can go for a short trip around the city covering the temples like, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Ramkrishna Mutt Temple, etc. also visit the wonderful Marina Beach.
Spend overnight in the hotel.
DAY 2: Chennai – Excursion to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram
Make sure you have a wholesome breakfast before starting for the tour of the day. Today we will take you to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram.
Also known as the City of 1000 Temples, Kanchipuram, is famous for silk sarees. It belongs to the seven most sacred cities of India. The well known temples of this place are the Kailasanathar Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, Varadarajar Temple and the Vaikantha Perumal Temple. Don’t miss the famous Shankaracharya math here.
Mahabalipuram, also known as Mamallapuram, is the perfect blend of sand, seafood and sun. But it’s definitely much more than just that. This cultural village can very well be marked as a true traveller’s enclave. Don’t miss out the famous Shore Temple here.
After the tour you will be taken back to Chennai right in dinner time. Night stay will be in the hotel.
DAY 3: Chennai – Madurai
In the morning, after you are done with your meal, you will be driven to the airport from where you will catch a flight to Madurai.
Madurai is the second largest city of Tamil Nadu. This animated city is jammed with pilgrims. It is one of the most ancient cities in India. Situated on the edge of the Vaigai River, Madurai is famous for the breath-taking Meenakshi Temple. The other important temples here are the Aappudaiyar Koyil Tevara Stelam and the Koodalazhagar Divya Desam. It is often considered as the ‘sleepless city’. Go for the sight seeing of ‘the Athens of the East’ covering Sri Meenakshi Temple, Tirumalai Nayak Palace, etc. You can witness a traditional aarti ceremony in Meenakshi Temple.
Spend the night conveniently at the hotel.

DAY 4: Madurai – Periyar
In the morning, have your senses activated by having a delicious breakfast in the hotel. Thereupon we will be escorting you to Periyar. On reaching, we will take you to your hotel without any delay. Relax till the noon. In the afternoon we will take you for a spine-tingling boat ride in the lake from where you will be able to witness the wild wonders of the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Overnight stay will be in the hotel.
DAY 5: Periyar – Kumarakom
Take your breakfast in the hotel and then proceed to an exotic boat ride experience towards Kumarakom, the well known backwater spot in Kerala. You will be mesmerized by the scenic beauty of this excellent destination. The famous Bird Sanctuary here will be a nice experience as well. Retire to the hotel after you reach Kumarakom. Spend the night there.
DAY 6: Kumarakom – Cochin
As the morning sets in, we would suggest you to set out on a wonderful boat cruise in the backwaters of this picturesque site.
Later in the day, we will drive you to the last destination of the tour, Cochin. On reaching, we will help you with the procedures of checking into the hotel. Relax for the day and spend the night there.
DAY 7: Cochin – Departure
Start off the day with a heavy breakfast. Then set out to explore this historic city of south. With a strong colonial past, this city owes testament to the Portuguese and Dutch accession remnants. You will be seeing many churches, mosques, old mansions and the famous Chinese fishing nets. It will prove to be a serene experience.
Afterwards you will be escorted to the airport from where you can catch your flight back home.
